In the Swedish session of the Anders Foundation Journalism Day at Wednesday, Ola Lindholm was one of the most popular speakers.

He is the editor of the most read magazine for children, Kamratposten, and anchorman at the most popular adventoruos tv programme, Wild kids.

– We take children very seriously, they are the target group and we want to give them confidence an self-esteem.

Wild kids is one of the biggest tv-productions ever made in Sweden in that subject.

– It is done to look lika an adventure programme for adults. The competitions are cool and tough. And the kids love it! We do it to show the children respect, they want real feelings as much as adults do. We could never do a programme were kids don't feel alright, said Ola Lindholm.

Thusdays programme

The first key note speech today, Thursday, is ”The Role of public broadcasting in the new media environment” presented by Lúcia Araújo from Brazil. The second is ”The new advertising: Digital marketing strategies targeting children” presented by Kathryn Montgomery and Jeffrey Chester, both from USA.
